See Bilbao evolve from old Seven Streets to Guggenheim curves
This is more than a list of sights; it’s a journey through eight centuries of reinvention. You will stand where whalers once launched their boats, learn how bridges became frontline defenses during conflict, and witness sunlight catching the Guggenheim’s titanium panels like fish scales as the Nervión flows beneath you, bringing Bilbao’s industrial grit and artistic rebirth vividly to life.

Don’t just take our word for it
Not only was the the time touring Bilbao with Maria so informative ( even for return travelers) so Informative ( history and present day life and understanding the layout of the city ), but she was also a wonderful match for us - warm, full of teaching and conversation and eager to offer suggestions for time in the city outskirts and neighboring sites. To get to Hans a beautiful wall and touch on so many topics ( basque culture, religion, politics, food, arts, etc) in such a short time was so rich and delightful. I could have enjoyed the whole rest of the day and hope we get to see Maria again!
Maria gave us an excellent tour of Bilbao. We learned huge amount about that beautiful city. Maria is knowledgable, friendly and great to spend time with in a new city. She also has a great sense of humor.
