Although she was born and raised in Genova in northern Italy, Elena has been living in Catania, Sicily since 2008. She worked as an architect for many years before realizing that her true passion was elsewhere. Elena became a qualified tour guide in 2017 and a licensed naturalistic guide in 2018. She now dedicates herself to leading excursions on Mount Etna. Passionate about all things volcanic, Elena's walks enchant enthusiastic travellers. She enjoys diving deep in the unique history of Mount Etna and its surrounding hills and towns.
