Trude holds a PhD in Early Modern History from the University of Catania. Her doctorate thesis focuses on the history of Palermo. Trude also studied in Palermo and Berlin, and worked on a variety of projects in Madrid and London. She has been a lecturer in History at the University of Palermo for more than ten years. Trude is fluent in English and German, and published several essays about Sicily. Her passion for history and culture extends beyond her intimate knowledge of the island, and this is one of the reasons why she makes a great tour leader, allowing her to contextualize the information she shares with our guests. She loves any opportunity to share her knowledge and passion with others.

Mario holds a degree in Agricultural Science from the University of Catania. After many years working as an agronomist, he decided to transform his passion for nature and trekking into his full-time job and became a licensed naturalistic guide in 2004. Since then, he has gained extensive knowledge and experience, and none of Sicily's natural beauties of Sicily is unknown to him, including, of course, Mount Etna, the Madonie and Nebrodi mountain areas. Throughout the winter, he dedicates himself to skiing and snowshoes hiking on Mount Etna.

Alessio holds an advanced degree from the Institute Montana Zugerberg in Switzerland. He lived in the Swiss mountains for many years, where he developed his love and passion for nature. Upon his return to Sicily, his homeland, he began studying the Etna, practiced climbing, and attended various training courses BLS and BLSD. Alessio is also a certified sommelier from the prestigious Associazione Italiana Sommelier.
