Elena holds a degree in Art History from the University of Bologna and a PhD specializing in Counter-Reformation and Baroque art. After leaving academia and spending a short period in London, she chose to pursue a career as a licensed tour guide, initially in Bologna and later throughout Emilia-Romagna. Alongside her guiding work, she occasionally teaches Art History in Italian high schools. In her free time, she enjoys traveling near and far, seeking out places rich in history, art, but also in the wilderness.
