Giorgia Zabbini is from Bologna, even if she doesn't know how to make lasagna or speak Bolognese dialect as well as her grandmother -;)
After a degree in modern foreign languages ​​and literature, two courses in translation for publishing and a license as tour leader, environmental guide and Bologna tourist guide in 7 languages ​​(English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian), she has been employed by the Municipality of Bologna.
She has worked as a translator, interpreter, tour leader and tour guide for companies, tour operators, travel agencies and for renowned Italian and foreign publishers and media (Feltrinelli Editore, the New York Times, The Washington Post, CNN, etc.).
She has accompanied special guests such as Italian and foreign ministers and delegations and well-known faces from the world of television, cinema and entertainment.
She has recently published the tourist guidebook 'Bologna' (Editori Feltrinelli – Morellini 2023/2024) in Italian and English versions.
She has no children but has 8 cats, who are also of great support for her professional activity.
