Irene is originally a country girl at heart. She grew up next to her Grandparent’s 400 acre diary farm in County Cork. Her Grandmother was a wonderful cook, cooked everything from scratch and sourced everything from her farm & locally. This skill was passed down through the generations and ultimately instilled in Irene a passion for food, and more importantly, sustainable food. As a Guide, Irene tends to gravitate towards the history of Irish traditional food. She works part-time at an urban farm in Dublin and part-time guiding guests with great pride around Dublin City, spilling the beans on Ireland’s delicious culinary scene. She looks forward to bringing you around Dublin’s host of dining/culinary experiences, telling stories of Ireland’s best food & drink as you taste. She will showcase the best of local cuisine but also educate & inspire you on Dublin’s sustainable practices. She promises a fun and memorable time.
