Mat studied Environmental Management at Salford University. After having worked at a local government level, and then for a non-profit conservation organization in Arizona, Mat traveled all over the world for two years before finally deciding to settle in the traditional, yet dynamic, city of Munich. Since then, he has worked as a freelance tour guide, showing visitors from all over the globe this beautiful city and its breathtaking surroundings. His extensive travel experience and understanding of different cultures is invaluable and most beneficial in his work as a guide. He is always eager to show visitors around and to share all he knows of Munich's culture, quirks and rich, varied, often turbulent history. It was this interest in the city's history that led him to study the 3rd Reich, and he is now an accredited and licensed guide at Dachau concentration camp memorial. In his spare time, Mat enjoys traveling and hiking.
