Monica is native of Mexico City and was raised in Coyoacán. Driven by her passion for Mexican culture, art, and history, she became a licensed tour guide and has been designing and leading tours since 2006.

She has also had the great opportunity to travel extensively throughout Europe and Japan, which has deepened her love for art and culture. She has truly enjoyed working with visitors from all over the world. Her highest priority is to ensure they have a magnificent and memorable experience in Mexico City.

Her academic background includes extensive training in Ethnohistory, Tourism Business, diplomaed in General Tourist Guides and certified by SECTUR, Seminar in Maya Epigraphy and Mythology, Baroque Art courses, Olmec Culture, Modern Art, and diplomaed in Mexican's daily life through art, by UNAM.
