Fabulous tour!! Santiago did an amazing job of sharing the history of Buenos Aires along with fun and interesting stories. He defnitely made us all want to come back to his wonderful city for more!
Juan was an excellent guide for the tour of MALBA. His background in design ties in well to his knowledge of the contemporary art on display. He shares his insights in engaging conversation and also left room for us to approach the art on our own. The artists represented were from across Latin America and Juan placed them in the context of the artistic and cultural influences that likely affected how their art was generated.
Jonathan was a great tour leader. He took us through a wonderful exposition and review of Argentine history as we strolled beautiful neighborhoods, His discussion placed Evita and Juan in the flow of that history from the fight for independence to the late twentieth century. The cemetery portion was more than just viewing Evita’s resting place but also served as a recap of what we learned on the walk.
