Very informative tour! Greatly appreciated my guide choosing a path that avoided the most-well traveled method to get to the top of the mountain temples and mounds, as well as being considerate of my leg and asthma issues.

Don’t just take our word for it
We loved everything about this tour, so much that we're still thinking about it months later as a highlight of our Japan trip. Seeing the "hidden" side of Fushimi Inari with all of the context behind it made the experience a hundredfold more fulfilling. Laura was also one of the best tour guides we've ever had - she was very friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to dive into a topic or question that we wanted to know more about, even if it wasn't a "standard" question or part of the tour. We couldn't recommend this tour highly enough and sending a huge thank you to Laura for being so amazing!
This morning, we had a wonderful tour of the Fushimi Inari area in Kyoto with our guide, Isabel. She took us up the mountain, where we experienced the breathtaking beauty of the famous red torii gates. Throughout the tour, Isabel did an outstanding job explaining the history, culture, and significance of this incredible place. What made the experience even more special was her kindness and consideration. Having undergone back surgery just six months ago, I was a little concerned about the uphill walking. Isabel was extremely accommodating, adjusting the pace and making sure I was comfortable throughout the entire experience. Her knowledge, professionalism, and genuine concern for our well-being made this a truly enjoyable and memorable morning. We sincerely appreciated her thoughtfulness and would highly recommend Isabel to anyone looking for an exceptional tour guide in Kyoto!
