We loved our tour with Stefano! It was extremely informative and entertaining. He had a number of illustrations to support his presentation. We learned about the importance of Renaissance architecture in Venice as well as the origins of the city, such as how the city developed over time, how it was defended from invadors, and how they built and structurally supported the early buildings. We also learned practical things about the city today, such as the rising tides, the dams being built to stop the waters, and how they repair older strucuters. It was by far one of the best tours we took of the city.
