Amy is a stage director with a PhD in Germanic Studies and Cinema & Media Studies. She first came to the German capital in 2006, as an exchange student. After completing her BA in History and Literature at Harvard, she returned under the auspices of a Fulbright to work as a directing intern at the Volksbühne. Since then, she has lived in seven of the city's twelve boroughs, working as a freelance director in and outside of Berlin.
