Born and raised in the vibrant city of Paris in a multicultural family, Djémil’s love affair with food ignited at an early age, nurtured by traditional Northern French and Mediterranean cuisines, and the bustling local markets. This passion transformed into a lifelong commitment to exploring the world’s diverse cuisines as a gateway to understand cultures. He gained precious insights on what makes the French food culture so distinctive in Western Europe, working for 12 years in marketing for PepsiCo’s premium brands. He then implemented for the City of Paris food sustainability projects in partnership with local retailers and restaurants, creating regenerative loops from the field to the fork while maintaining the terroirs’ quality. When he is not writing poetry on a café’s terrace, Djémil enjoys building bridges between the cultures for his guests.
