Dora is a researcher and lecturer in public history based between Berlin and Luxembourg, where she has initiated a history festival called Histofest. History on Full Blast. She holds a PhD in Social and Cultural Studies and an MA in Eastern European Studies. She has studied or held fellowships at universities in Germany, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Turkey and Slovenia.

Dora's research interests revolve around European politics and history, and she is particularly concerned with the question of how history is presented and transmitted in and beyond institutions. To that end, she has worked in several museums and archives, including the Stasi Records Archive and the German Federal Archives in Berlin. This multilayered city is a perfect match for her exploratory spirit and is a constant source of inspiration.
