About Eleanor
Ellie is an Edinburgh resident and Scottish history enthusiast! She is a current PhD student at the University of Edinburgh, where she undertook both her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Her research explores the history of the supernatural in Scotland between the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries. Her particular expertise is in the history of elite belief in Scotland's early modern ghosts and witches. She had previously worked on the University of Edinburgh's interactive Map of Scottish Witchcraft and other spooky projects. She is passionate about Scottish history and sharing its stories with other people, especially within the beautiful backdrop that Edinburgh provides.
