Born in the US, Elizabeth has lived in Japan for nearly a decade. With experience living in both the cosmopolitan hubs of Tokyo and Kyoto, she has worked mainly in the art sector. She spends her free time in galleries and gardens, and volunteers with organizations to preserve Japanese cultural heritage. She has studied the language since high school, going on to complete a BA with honors in East Asian Language and Culture in the US and an M.Sc in History of Art, Theory and Display, specializing in Japanese contemporary art.
