A true Viennese, Robert Eichhorn was born, raised, and continues living in the city today. After finishing school, he worked in the airline industry at the Vienna Airport. While he still finds airplanes fascinating, his passion has always been history. Robert began working at the renowned Viennese auction house Dorotheum, where he spent 15 years immersing himself in material historical culture. After two further years of training, Robert successfully passed the official exam to become an Austria Guide in the spring of 2019 and since has taken great pleasure in guiding guests through Vienna.
Robert is an accredited guide at several museums in Vienna, including the Jewish Museum. Tours following in the footsteps of Vienna’s Jewish community are part of his portfolio, as are classic highlight tours, Schönbrunn Palace, or tours focusing on Vienna during the interwar period.
