The Van Gogh Museum is a treasure trove of the famous artist's creations. On this two-hour tour, we will journey through Van Gogh's portraits, landscapes, and still-lifes, uncovering the many facets of the man as we go. Accompanied by an art historian or museum educator trained to engage with families, we'll learn about the dramatic twists and turns of Van Gogh's life and discover how they shaped his paintings.

Can we use the tickets to re-enter the museum after the tour is finished?
Tickets at the Van Gogh Museum are timed, and re-entry is not permitted, but you can stay inside the museum as long as you like.
There are 6 in my group but your website won't allow me to include more than 5 participants. Can't you make an exception?
No, unfortunately, due to venue reservation restrictions made by the museum, we cannot accommodate groups larger than 5 people. If your group is larger, we recommend you split it into multiple groups.

Maja was an exceptional tour guide! She crafted a perfect story of van Gogh’s life for us as she expertly weaved us around the crowds in the museum to highlight the works she chose. She covered art history and art analysis, being clearly expert in both. My boys are 11 and 13 years old. They knew almost nothing about van Gogh and art analysis going into the day, but have received a rich lesson, thanks to Maja. My family gives Maja our highest recommendation, and we suggest this delightful and informative tour for adults and kids alike!

Anita was lovely and very engaging. She enjoyed talking with our son about Van Gogh, his life, and painting techniques. She asked questions that had our son thinking deeply about the paintings and their stories. She even brought a small sketch board and pencils to let him sketch in the galleries.
