Maja is an art historian, art curator and artist living and working in Amsterdam. She studied Conservation and Restoration as well as Painting and Printmaking. She holds a MA in Fine Arts and a PhD in Art History. Her professional background includes experience in the field of higher education, teaching and research, parallel with working on her own art and exhibiting paintings and prints internationally. Maja has a special interest in the creative process and in the art techniques and materials - in other words how a specific artwork was created. With her multidisciplinary knowledge she gives unique insights and perspectives of the masterpieces in the most important museums in The Netherlands.
