As a hotel management graduate, Jurgen has lived, studied and worked in The Hague for several years and he’s therefore the right person to take our guests on an interesting day-trip to this coastal city, the residence of the Dutch government. Being a seasoned restaurant manager, Jurgen’s passion is all about food & beverage. His extensive knowledge of both international and local cuisine is ever evolving, and he happily shares that. For many years he has been a proud citizen of Amsterdam now, the city he refers to as one of the most beautiful in the world and on which he has gained much insight into two important themes in the history of it. Thanks to his family history he became highly interested in both the Golden Age as well as the Jewish history of Amsterdam. During his tours he explains why this personal link is exemplary for the development of the city over time.
