Jonathan was knowledgeable and did great job explaining the history of Argentina's wine industry. Great perspective on food and the various regions too. Really fun.

Buenos Aires Wine Tour: More Than Malbec
Sip Argentina’s wines through old-world grapes and new terroir
Tour Itinerary
As we continue, we’ll discuss how Argentina’s political and economic history, including Peronism, shaped its wine industry over the last 70 years. We’ll also explore key milestones in Argentine wine history: the introduction of grapes in the 1500s, the influence of 19th-century immigrants, and the export boom of the 1990s. The next tasting, either at a chic wine bar or a private space, features wines from regions like Patagonia, known for cool-climate varietals, and Mendoza’s Uco Valley, famed for its bold, high-altitude reds.
