Kate was a delightful companion and very knowledgeable historian as we toured Edinburgh with a food focus. She was prepared with implements to have a park bench picnic after we stopped for fresh cheeses, smoked salmon and oatcakes. She even had homemade candy, plus famous Scottish sweets. We even stopped at a pub when she learned I was game to try haggis, which was yummy! Kate is well-versed in so much social history and I was thoroughly charmed by her personality!

Claire is a very engaging and informative guide. She was very well prepared for our tour. The National Portrait Gallery had been under some renovation and before our tour, she had gone to make sure the paintings she wanted to show me were still on display. Claire handled the politic issues with sensitivity. I would happily take another tour with Claire
