Theresa was excellent! We really enjoyed the walking tour. It was so informative and interesting. Our group was very small, five people, so we had ample opportunity to ask questions. Theresa is a historian with a great depth of knowledge. Her commentary was fresh and thoughtful.
Given the current upsurge in xenophobic nationalism in both the U.S. and Europe, this tour has a timeliness other Context tours may lack. The docent was quite good at placing the Third Reich in longer historical context while giving detailed attention to the origins of the Nazi movement in various sites around Munich. This was enlightening and helpful. One suggestion is to provide more detail about the evolution of the concluding scene - the Koenigsplatz and environs - to balance the interesting visit to the early sites of Hitler's rise such as the beer halls.
Brendan was really great! We learned so much. We will continue to use Context every time we travel. You make it so easy!
