My wife and I had an absolutely fantastic experience on our NYC food tour with Dave. From the first stop to the last bite, Dave's knowledge of the city's food scene, its history, and the stories behind each spot made the day so much more than just eating — though the eating was incredible too! We started strong with a legendary pastrami sandwich at Katz's Deli, worked our way through some amazing tacos, and had the most delicious bagel piled high with smoked salmon, dill, capers, and red onion. Dave even introduced us to Vietnamese desserts we never would have found on our own — the pandan layer cake was a highlight and a totally new experience for us. Dave was friendly, insightful, and clearly passionate about NYC food culture. He kept the pace comfortable, gave great context at every stop, and made us feel like locals instead of tourists. If you're visiting New York and want to eat like you know the city, book a tour with Dave at Context. We can't recommend him enough!
This was a wonderful way to experience The Met. I learned much more from this visit than from any of my previous ones. John Tyson is a true expert on art and a great teacher. Highly recommend!
