Carey, although originally a Londoner, now calls Singapore her home along with her husband and daughter. Having worked for many years in London as a Blue Badge Tourist Guide, the moment she arrived in Singapore in 2017 she threw herself into the guiding scene. Especially passionate about heritage and culture, Carey is an in-house guide for the National Museum of Singapore, Friends of the Museum Chinatown and Kampong Gelam walks, and the URA City Gallery. Sharing her expertise from guiding in the UK, Carey has been involved with the training of new guides here in Singapore. She has recently qualified as a fully fledged STB licensed guide, whch she hopes will open up lots of new adventures for her! Carey looks forward to sharing Singapore’s history, heritage and culture with you.
