Fanny is a French scholar based in Asia for almost 15 years, having lived 9 years in Japan and 6 in China. Her expertise is focused on contemporary Asian literature, anthropology, philosophy and art.

Fanny holds a PhD from Paris Sorbonne in Comparative Literature. Her dissertation deals with the idea of urban drifting and mapping in contemporary culture, which she has particularly experienced in the city of Tokyo.
