Jean-Philippe is a French and Canadian historian and teacher. He was born in Canada and had the idea of travelling abroad very early on in his life. He thus chose to settle in Paris ten years ago. After finishing a PhD on the cultural, political, and military history of France and Great Britain, and reflecting on his experience as a teacher in higher education for the past eight years, he is now looking for other ways to pass on the knowledge he has accumulated through his years of work and peregrinations in Europe and elsewhere. One of his favourite place to spend time is the magnificent Bibliothèque nationale de France, also known as the Bibliothèque François Mitterand, built around a small underground forest. It hosts stunning exhibitions all year long. He can't wait to meet you to share his passion for history!
