This was an excellent tour. Our guide Anthony met us at our hotel and gave us lots of wonderful information about Versailles during our private transportation in a luxury van. We were able to skip the ticket line and although it was fairly crowded, Anthony made sure to find space to explain everything we were seeing in detail. After spending a good amount of time inside, Anthony took us on an amazing tour of the gardens. I actually enjoyed that even more! Spectacular. Anthony was very personable and knowledgeable and we give him and the tour 5 stars. I’m glad I was dressed in layers and in sneakers for comfort. Since our tour ended at six, I made a dinner reservation in Versailles so we didn’t have to rush back to Paris.
