France Private and Small Group Walking Tours

Birthplace of haute cuisine and high fashion
France is known for its cultural sophistication and cultivation of the intellect. Its influence on art, music, literature, science, politics, fashion, food, and philosophy—just to name a few fields—is unparalleled.
"This tour was the high point of my three weeks traveling in Europe and Iceland. I had read "A Tale of Two Cities" and the tour brought to life the history of the French Revolution. We walked the path of the revolutionary activities and were treated to a deep and insightful presentation of the context and the activities that took place in the locations we visited. Irene was outstanding in her knowledge and communication of the history. We learned so much about the history and the feelings of the French people who realized this dramatic transformation of world events. Thank you." – E. Michael

Irene was an excellent guide with a breadth of knowledge about the time period as well as other aspects of Paris’ history. She communicated well and answered all our questions. She was engaging, friendly and delightful to spend 3 hours with. We will heartily recommend Irene to anyone looking for great insights into Paris and its upheavals!
