Don’t just take our word for it
We loved this tour! We've been raving about it to everyone we know. Both the economics and engineering behind the Dutch phenomenon of living on reclaimed land are so interesting and our guide, Alette Fleischer, was incredibly well informed. I almost thought I understood it until I tried to explain it to someone else. What I made the trip well worth the Context expense was the visit into the top levels of the windmills to see the handmade cogs and wooden gears and shafts do their work. Alette also shared many fun facts and anecdotes about the towns we visited, the Dutch business practices at the time and even the paper made in Holland that the U.S. Declaration of Independence was written on. We could not rate the tour more highly. Ken Moorman and Patricia Percival
This tour takes such a unique and historical approach to an iconic tourist site. Alette was a fantastic guide, we really enjoyed our day and learned so much.
