The Athens Archaeological Site tickets are valid for admission to Acropolis and Slopes. It doesn't include the Acropolis Museum, that's why we purchase a different ticket for the Acropolis Museum.

No. Strollers are not permitted within the Acropolis archaeological site. There is a stroller check at certain entrances, but not at the entrance closest to our meeting point. We advise you to leave your stroller at the hotel for this tour!

The sites we visit currently do not allow groups larger than 9.

The Acropolis has made certain efforts to allow access to clients of varying levels of mobility. Clients who think they will need elevator access to avoid the numerous stairs should come prepared with a justification of disability-anything from a disability card or placard to a signed doctor's note will suffice.

Elias was just wonderful. My boys (10, 8, and 6) were completely engaged for 3.5 hours — even in the crowds and hot sun (although he did a great job finding spots in the shade for us to gather!). Elias seamlessly wove together history, mythology, modern day Greece, the story of the Acropolis itself; he asked appropriate questions and used callbacks to keep them interested throughout. My kids - and I!! - learned a ton. I had debated whether to sign up for this private tour — given the expense and overall logistics of our trip, I was hesitant to add the cost or the commitment (would we be too jet lagged to make the start time, would it be better to just do it on our own, there are many downloadable guides online, etc). I am SO glad I did — it really made the entire trip for me to see my kids so engaged, so immersed in the history and enjoying themselves so much. It was a total highlight for us. Thank you Elias!

We took the Acropolis Tour for Kids with Effie, and she was wonderful with our 7- and 9-year-old Greek mythology enthusiasts. The children connected with her right away. Along with history and mythology, she pointed out trees, plants, birds, and rock formations on the walk up to the Acropolis, which made the experience feel rich and engaging. She also expertly navigated the crowds, even holding our 7-year-old’s hand and reassuring her when needed. At the museum, she gave just the right amount of highlights to keep the kids interested. It was a truly special experience with Effie. We only wish we could have spent all day with her!
