We did a food tour of Florence with Sarah. It was excellent and Sarah is a knowledgeable, approachable, friendly and insightful guide.
We visited the oldest cafe on the Piazza Della Repubblica for morning coffee before being hosted for an olive oil tasting at Pruneti with Frederika, We were introduced to the seasonal Schiacciata All'uva (Florentine grape bread) which was surprising and flavourful and yummy.
Then it was onto the San Lorenzo market, the main market of Florence.
A glass of wine and cheese at a local vintner's finished the tour.
Sarah should be given a medal for conducting this tour in good humour even though it rained the whole time.
Highly recommended.
