I cant say enough good things about the trip and our guide Nathan. Not only did Nathan provide us with good background and insights on the more well known venues with visited like Tenryu-ji and the bamboo grove but took us to some lesser known/ off the beaten path sites - which in many ways were better than the well known sites.

John was a wonderful guide, informative and friendly, giving us great insights into Japanese history and culture. It couldn’t have been better. Plus, he introduced us to the flavor of matcha tea in the delicious form of ice cream! A great tour, and a great tour guide.
