Frequently Asked Questions
You will meet your expert guide in front of the restaurant Le St André cafe which is located in the Latin Quarter, and the tour will end at the Louvre. Your confirmation email will have the exact meeting point details along with a map.
You will be expected to cover the cost of your lunch and any additional refreshments.
Unfortunately, the Louvre has recently updated their policy regarding group visits. Guests who visit the museum as part of a guided group must remain with their guide at all times, which includes exiting the museum together. If you wish to visit the museum on your own after the tour, you will be required to purchase a separate individual ticket for re-entry.
If you have one of our pre-purchased tickets, you will not be required to wait in any ticket line. There is a security checkpoint that all visitors to the museum are required to pass, and there is sometimes a line for this. Because we have advance tickets, we have access to a special ticket-holder security line, which is very short. Museum Pass holders also have access to this special line.

Don’t just take our word for it
The day started out with a great meet and greet with Naomi. She is a very kind and smart person. Her knowledge and attention to sharing details was amazing. This experience involved a lot of walking, maybe a bit too much for kids. My kids were very excited to go to the Louvre. It was our last stop and by then they were gassed and not that interested. Scheduling can very to the Louvre, I would suggest it maybe be the first stop and the site-seeing after and keep it more kid oriented. All in all it was a great experience and would recommend.
Our experience with Laurent was exceptional. We have a 11 year old in tow who is fascinated with French culture and history. Laurent's deep knowledge of French history, the arts, culture and food kept us entertained for hours. Laurent even introduced us to an amazing culinary experience. It was quite hot during our tour, but he managed to navigate cooler routes throughout the city to get us out of the blazing Parisian sun as often as possible! We highly recommend Context and Laurent for a customized tour of Paris. He added so much depth and value to our sightseeing.
