Violette Andre

Art Historian in Paris
About Violette

I’m a Parisian tour guide with a deep passion for art, history, and storytelling. I studied art history and languages between France and Italy, including a year in Siena where I focused on the great Italian masters before continuing my journey in Rome. These experiences shaped the way I see art and culture today — not just as history, but as something alive and meaningful.

I’m fluent in four languages and currently learning Russian and Hebrew, because discovering new cultures and ways of thinking has always been part of who I am. My greatest passions are ancient history, the Renaissance, and the fascinating connections between art and religions.

After traveling around the world, I realized that what I love most is sharing the beauty and secrets of my own country. Being a tour guide in Paris truly feels like a mission for me: I want every visitor to experience the city not only with their eyes, but with emotion and curiosity.

When I’m not guiding, you’ll probably find me writing, reading, drawing, or walking through the city with my two chihuahuas (I absolutely love dogs!). And one dream still on my list: visiting Antarctica one day.

If you want a tour that is passionate, personal, and full of stories you won’t find in guidebooks, I would love to show you my Paris.
