Your tours have never disappointed. The guides are professionals in their fields not just ‘tour’ guides who lead people around. I always learn something new in Venice though I’ve been there yearly for the past 20 years. I’m glad I found Contect. Your contact people have been wonderful when I’ve needed them.
We liked the deep explanation of the origins of the various styles of architecture in Venice and how these had been imported from different places, reflecting the trading nature of the city. With his professional training, Stefano was able to explain architectural details in ways that were comprehensible to non-experts. However, while we appreciated his technical expertise, we would have appreciated it if the tour had been broader in its definition and coverage of the architecture of the city, and had allocated less time on the fine details of a small number of buildings.
The tour was very informative and well structured and our guide Stephano explained everything in a thorough and vivid way. Would love to have some more content on modern Venitian architecture.
