Claire was our guide for this tour. She is knowledgeable, erudite, experienced and gracious, as I reported in my review of the tour she gave my wife and me of Istiklal Street and Taksim Square. She has written a guide book of the palace so her knowledge of it is considerable. She tailored the tour to suit our interests. We enjoyed her tour very much.

Claire is everything you would expect from a Context guide: Knowledgeable, erudite, experienced, and gracious. She grew up in the U.S. and she has taught English in Turkey so her English is perfect, but she's lived in Turkey for 30 years so her Turkish is also excellent. She is a student of the culture and she communicates what she knows effortlessly. My wife and I enjoyed this tour very much and we benefited from it greatly.
