Perrache station is closest to our meeting point at a 10-15 minute walk. Part-Dieu station is a 15-minute taxi ride from our meeting point.
A native Lyonnaise, Magali Clémençon has been a guide and lecturer since 2001, sharing her knowledge and offering a local's perspective of living in Lyon. She holds degrees in Tourism and Art History, as well as in Wine Studies from the University of Burgundy's Institute of Vine and Wine. Curious by nature, she has traveled the world and is passionate about the history of civilizations, meeting people, and speaking foreign languages. Particularly interested in WWII, she leads regular tours and gives lectures on the Resistance. She was rewarded in March 2018 by the City of Lyon for her documentary "Montluc, 1943-1944, 24 words of detained by the gestapo".
A native of Lyon, Marie-Claire holds a degree in english and art history with a specialty in renaissance architecture. She has always been working in tourism and has been a professional guide-lecturer since 2007. After having lived in different countries in Europe, she came back to Lyon to share her knowledge and love for the culture and history of her native place.
Stefania Partinico is a national guide currently working in Lyon (France). Since obtaining her diploma in 2006, Stefania has been guiding tourists of all nationalities all around France. Stefania has excellent communication skills and enjoys meeting people, listening to them, talking about French history, culture and local life. She speaks Italian, English, French and Japanese and can guide in these four languages. Stefania obtained a University degree in Japanese language and art at Ca' Foscari University, in Venice (Italy). Before working as a guide, Stefania has worked for tour operators and travel agencies: these previous working experiences enhance and complete her knowledge of tourism and tourists' needs. Stefania enjoys reading, jogging, travelling with her family and spending good quality time with her friends.
