Don’t just take our word for it
Carlos was a friendly, personable and superb guide. He gave us a clear, comprehensible outline of Spanish history, illuminated the architecture he showed us, and explained the connections between them. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of Madrid, provided information about restaurants, tapas bars, and museums, including specifics about which art was on which floor and when the museums were open or closed. In general, he was enormously helpful and pleasant to be with. It's hard to imagine a better introduction to the city, especially the historical core. Bravo, Carlos, and muchas gracias!
Carlos was so knowledgable about Spanish history and was able to share so many interesting facts about Madrid. He made the tour interesting and a lot of fun stopping for food that had very interesting history behind it. I would certainly recommend Carlos and use him again for further tours when we return to Madrid.
