Hector has been a licensed tour guide for several Spanish regions since 2001. His love for art and history led him to study Art History, and his passion for travel led him to spend more than 13 years living, working, and traveling in more than 75 countries over 5 continents. Thanks to these travel experiences, Hector is now fluent in English, Italian, French and Spanish, and understands the cultural backgrounds and idiosyncrasies of many different nationalities. Having been born and raised in Madrid, Hector is able to share his city and his region through the eyes of a local, with numerous historic, cultural, and societal anecdotes about Madrid and Spain. He is keenly interested in the humanities, and has a special love for Asian culture and its philoshophies.
