Louvre Highlights Tour
On this three-hour tour, you'll join an art historian for an insider's view of the most-visited collection of artworks in the world. Starting outside of the museum, we'll learn about its transformation over five centuries from an immense medieval fortress to a magnificent royal palace to the museum we know today.
From there, we'll explore the Classical Antiquities wing, the grand galleries of Italian painting, and the French Masters, including masterpieces by Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Veronese.
Our art historian will curate our visit, selecting a mixture of famous and lesser-known works and crafting a narrative around our interests and questions. Of course, if you're willing to wait in the queue this tour also includes the famous Mona Lisa and the mysteries behind her smile.
