During this Paris market tour, you will hop from stand to stand in the company of your local host. They will introduce you to shopkeepers, give you the history behind various French delicacies, and show you how to order some of the best specialties around. You might taste some treats along the way while stocking up on others in preparation for a small end-of-tour picnic. Should you choose, you can wash it all down with a glass of French wine.

Rhonda Poritsky, a veteran chef, was a delight. She was well received by all the vendors, discussed how best to prepare certain vegetables and was very informative about individual foods and ingredients. We truly enjoyed our “picnic” lunch and wine tasting at the end. Highly recommend; you will not be disappointed.

Our enchanting guide Marie Alicia accompanied us on a delectable tour of the Marche d’Aligre outdoor and indoor markets centred around French gastronomic culture and interaction with the local community including the highest quality boulangerie and patisserie, premier fruit vendors, cheese merchants, chocolatier, barista and wine merchant to assemble a gourmet experience. An unforgettable experience not to be missed.
