We had 2 tours with Alessandra Saturday. On the first tour she took the time to customize the tour to spend some more time on the Gates of Paradise and Brunelleschi Dome. On the Uffizi tour she explained the pieces brilliantly.

Signature Uffizi Gallery Tour
Turn the Uffizi’s vast collection into a clear Renaissance arc
- Follow the bigger story Know what deserves attention, what a detail means, and how works connect to the larger Uffizi story.
- Go beyond the postcards Pair Botticelli icons with overlooked artworks most visitors never stop to truly notice.
- Discover meaning within works Learn how to look at technique and symbolism, and evaluate the history of pieces that interest you.
- Trace Medici power in art See how patronage, philosophy, and politics shaped Renaissance Florence for centuries.
- Leave with sharper stories Gather art details worth retelling, not just names you half-remember from labels.
- Keep the pace thoughtful Tickets, pacing, and a guided path remove the pressure of choosing between all the rooms.

Accessibility Notice: Starting December 2024: The elevators to the second floor are currently out of service due to renovations. Unfortunately, we do not have an estimated timeline for their return to service. Please note that our gallery begins on the second floor. Visitors will need to use the stairs unless prior arrangements are made. For guests with disabilities who cannot use the stairs, an alternative route is available. However, this path adds approximately 1 kilometer to the tour, requiring the use of an elevator at the museum's exit and additional walking time back to the entrance. This may extend the overall tour time. We are happy to accommodate this option, but it is crucial to let us know when you book so we can inform your guide and ensure everything is prepared in advance. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Don’t just take our word for it
Alessandra was very knowledgeable and clearly knows Florence and its history extremely well. She was warm, pleasant and very easy to spend time with. I particularly appreciated that she asked about my interests and preferences and was happy to adapt the tour to what I wanted to see and do. She was also wonderfully patient whenever I wanted to stop and take photos, and I never felt rushed. Alessandra was accommodating throughout our time together and genuinely lovely company. I very much enjoyed spending the day with her and would happily recommend her as a guide in Florence.
