Helena K.

Pastry Chef and Artist in London
About Helena

Helena is a London Blue Badge Tourist Guide with a background in History of Religions, having graduated cum laude from La Sapienza University in Rome. Her academic work focused on Christianity and Islam and she brings this depth of knowledge into clear, engaging storytelling that
makes complex history accessible and memorable.
Before guiding, she spent nearly twenty years working as a pastry chef in some of Rome’s and London’s most prestigious institutions, including The Langham and Café Royal. This experience instilled a strong sense of precision, attention to detail and high service standards, which now underpin the way she guides her clients.
Her tours are designed for travellers who value depth, clarity and a highly personalised approach. Whether guiding through a museum or exploring the city, she focuses on bringing objects and places to life through their materials, craftsmanship and the human stories behind them.
Helena has a passion for craftsmanship, the skill of the human hand, whether in jewellery, ceramics or woodcarving and she enjoys drawing attention to the materials, techniques and artistry behind objects. She likes all art, from circus arts to applied arts. She speaks Italian and English fluently.
