Tour Description
The sun warms your skin, and the sandy soil shifts slightly beneath you. There is a constant thrum humming in your ears from a distant crowd. Open your eyes and let history explode before you.

  • Step into the Colosseum, not as a spectator, but as a gladiator. Imagine the weight of the trident in your hand, the smell of dust and sweat hanging in the air. You’re standing where fellow gladiators once bled for glory, right in the heart of the city.
  • Explore the intricate archways and web of tunnels. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself speechless at the sheer scale of the structure; after all, it is the largest amphitheater in the world. Your guide will keep your imagination ignited as you explore with fascinating facts, engaging stories, and interactive activities.
  • Visit Ludus Magnus, their legendary gladiator training ground. Hear the phantom echoes of clashing swords, see the sweat that stained the ancient stones around them. Imagine their dreams of glory as they prepared to enter the Colosseum through the famous hidden tunnel.
  • Stroll the Via Sacra where senators plotted and citizens gossiped. Picture local craftsmen congregating along the Forum to sell their wares, bakery stands perfuming the air with the scent of fresh bread, and students gathering under porticos to discuss epics and practice arithmetic.

This is more than sightseeing. It's a hands-on adventure, a journey that ignites imaginations and sparks family connections. Embrace the dust of gladiators and the whispers of emperors. Gain lasting memories, a newfound respect for Rome's legacy, and a shared story etched in the eternal city's heart.
  • You want to skip the generic spiel and embrace a personalized experience designed for your family's interests and pace. Delve deeper than guidebooks, ask questions, and let the Colosseum reveal its secrets just for you.
  • You’re interested in exploring the Colosseum's hidden corners, touching history as it comes alive before you.
  • Your child(ren) are eager to live life as a gladiator, learning about training at Ludus Magnus, practicing their imaginary sword jabs, and picturing their epic victories inside the Colosseum.
  • Colosseum - Did you know that this arena once held up to 80,000 spectators? This architectural marvel of ancient Rome was not only a venue for gladiatorial contests but also for public spectacles like mock sea battles, animal hunts, and dramas based on classical mythology.
  • Roman Forum - Once the epicenter of Roman public life, hosting triumphal processions, elections, public speeches, and criminal trials.

If children under 18 qualify for free tickets, why am I required to purchase a ticket for my child?

Is it true that Colosseum admission tickets often sell out months in advance?
Yes, tickets to the Colosseum often sell out months ahead for dates during peak season. To guarantee your spot, we strongly advise booking as far out as possible. This allows our team ample time to secure your preferred tour date and time.

Really great tour. Our boys (13, 16) loved it.
Antonella was the perfect guide. She gave us the history, provided opportunities to ask questions, made it interactive, and was so nice. The kids loved it and the adults too. An unforgettable tour!
Great experience for my 10 and 12 year old. No wasted time and money well spent.
