This tour was a great break from the traditional sites of Ancient Rome (Colosseum, Forum, Pantheon, etc.). Our Sunday walk started at the Baths and continued south along the Via Appia Antica. Tom was the best guide--extremely knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Upon learning of my husband's love of golf, he even modified the schedule to include a park near the aqueduct which abutted a local golf course! I highly recommend this tour.
This was a great tour! Janet did a wonderful job.
The ONLY reason we gave a four-star review is that the driver did not show up, so we did not see Appian Way or the Catacombs. Dony, who was excellent, walked us through the Terme di Caracalla, then took us to see the Basilica of the Virgin Mary instead, which was beautiful. It was a great tour, even though we never got to the primary destination.
