It’s was amazing. Mandy was very informative about the site and showed me some of the other shrines, and the history behind them. Mandy is amazing and would recommend her to anyone we a guide for those traveling to Japan.
What a treat! Our tour with John was a superb introduction to Japan's food culture and etiquette. His enthusiasm and expertise shone through from the moment we met. Taking care to understand our tastes and preferences before we got started John then guided us through some of Tokyo's finest culinary experiences. A particular highlight was our visit to a tiny bar in Drunkards Alley which only just had room for 6 guests but which offered an authentic Japanese drinking experience with enthusiastic and friendly hosts and fellow drinkers. Many thanks to John for a fab evening. (And John, we managed to buy "7 colour" bento boxes made by the Michelin 3* chef the next day from Tokyo Station, so thanks for the tip on that!). A highly recommended experience, especially at the start of our visit to Japan.
