We thoroughly enjoyed our Sound of Music tour with Anne-Marie. She used the film as an entertaining framework for understanding Salzburg’s much broader story—from its medieval origins and the Habsburg era through its modern history. She seamlessly combined historical context with fascinating and fun stories about the making of the movie. Anne-Marie was delightful, extremely knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Salzburg. We loved exploring both the beautiful Old City and the surrounding lake country, and Susan especially loved the entire experience.
