I’d read that visiting the Asian side of Istanbul is essential for any first-time visitor, and I wholeheartedly agree. Our local guide was approachable and knowledgeable, sharing both historical context and modern cultural insights that deepened our appreciation of the city’s rich tapestry. This half-day tour offers a small taste of what the 'Asian side' has to offer. We only wished we were able to see more. The ferry ride was an added highlight! Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and a morning well spent.

Ebru was extremely knowledgable and explained concepts and history very clearly. She was a fantastic guide.
Another terrific tour with Context and Suleyman. Suleyman shared great insight about the Bazaar and Spice Market. He introduced us to a small mosque near the markets that we would have never noticed, let alone visit, if we were on our own. The mosque had particularly beautiful Iznik tiles, and because of its small size and lack of crowds (and with Suleyman's guidance) we were able to really appreciate the artisanship. Thank you Suleyman.
