Alex's in depth knowledge of the architect Gaudi's life coupled with his personal attention to pointing out details of connections between the architectural elements used by Gaudi and his religious connection and beliefs about things he used in the project plus the connection to both the clients lives and the events in Barcelona at the time of the project are phenomenal. Adding his personal observations at every stage of our tour truly enhanced our ability to see and learn things that probably 95% of other tours do not know about or just skip bye. Additionally our lunch time conversation about current economic and political conditions in Barcelona provided us with an opportunity to "connect" much better with the culture of the city today. There is NO DOUBT that we will again and again come back to CONTEXT tours for more scholarly knowledge from great guides.
